Insurance Claim Process
If we find damage, we will them execute our 1st Insurance Contract for us to work with your insurance company and then we will contact your insurance company to file an insurance claim.
Either call us with your adjuster’s information or have your adjuster contact us directly so that we can set up an appointment. It is very important to make sure we are there to represent you during this appointment. Do not allow your adjuster to look at your roof alone even if they say they do not need us present.
Scro's Roofing Company and your insurance adjuster will inspect all the areas of your property and discuss covered damages and come to a verbal agreement. We will point out damages they may or may not see, we will also make sure that they understand the North Carolina required Building Codes and Manufacture Specifications.
The adjuster will send you paperwork with what damages are covered. Forward any paperwork to Scro's Roofing Company before signing so that we can verify that the damages have been fairly evaluated and accurately reported.
We will Execute our 2nd Insurance Contract, choose a date for work to be performed. Then we will discuss shingle types/colors, gutters, siding. Assist you in choosing beautiful new colors for your home that will make you happy!
Endorse first insurance ACV check payable to Scro's Roofing Company, along with payment of deductible and any upgrades if applicable. Once the first payment is received Scro’s Roofing Company will begin the scope of work.
After the project is complete Scro's Roofing Company will walk with you to inspect all the work and sign a COC (Certificate of Completion) and will send all required paperwork to your insurance company to release the held depreciation money.
